About Barth Therapy
Barth Therapy is a trauma-informed, culturally responsive group practice serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. We believe that seeking therapy is a powerful act of self-trust and courage. Our mission is to offer care that is purposeful and empowering, recognizing that healing unfolds over time through consistent, affirming connection.
Our practice is grounded in empathy, anti-oppressive care, and clinical integrity. We offer decolonized, identity-affirming therapy that honors the full context of our clients’ lives—including their cultural, historical, and systemic realities. We tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and lived experiences using a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, narrative work, somatic interventions, and harm reduction.
We work with clients through insurance, private pay, and reduced-rate options to ensure accessibility.

In alignment with our mission and the needs of our client base, we prioritize applicants whose lived experiences reflect the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities we serve. This supports our commitment to providing culturally congruent, liberation-oriented care.
