A Bit About Me

As a Black, Queer therapist I am passionate about working with people of diverse backgrounds, specifically individuals who identify as BIPOC, Queer, and/or neurodivergent in the D.C area. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lived experiences and that my role is to empower you through cultivating a space of healing. I help clients navigate challenges associated with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Additionally, I work with clients to address concerns related to ADHD, autism, and gender and/or sexual identity. Developing a positive relationship where trust is present is the most important part of my work as a therapist. Once we have established a genuine connection, we will work together to discover the best techniques and approaches that aid you in your healing journey.

It is no secret that therapy may be a new experience that can be overwhelming and exciting. You deserve a space that is comfortable and welcoming, so come as you are. In sessions, I am interactive, conversational, and expressive. I encourage clients to ask questions and provide honest feedback about our sessions to ensure I am meeting their needs. I firmly believe that real healing can only occur in spaces that validate who you areBelow are additional approaches that I use based on client needs and backgrounds:
